Groundnut

Groundnut is one of India’s most important oilseed crops and a major source of edible oil.
It is also a valuable food and cash crop that supports farmer income and rural livelihoods.
Being a legume, it helps improve soil fertility through Nitrogen fixation and fits well in crop rotations.

Why Your Groundnut Needs Phosphorus?

Root development
& nodulation

Phosphorus promotes strong root growth and enhances nodulation, which is critical for biological Nitrogen fixation in groundnut.

Energy transfer
& early growth

It is essential for ATP formation, supporting early plant vigor, better establishment, and flowering.

Pod development
& yield

Adequate Phosphorus improves peg formation, pod development, and ultimately enhances yield and oil content.
